Curt's Gas Grill Ribs: Submitted by: Curt | Date Added: November 23rd 2009
Listed in: Pork
Ingredients

1 rack of baby back pork ribs
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup Oilerie coconut sugar
1/2 teaspoon mild chile powder
1/2 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
1 Tablespoon Curt's Cooking Spice, plus more for ribs
Curt's BBQ Sauce

Cooking Instructions

Remove the tough membrane from the back side of the ribs by working your fingers under the membrane and pulling along the length of the ribs. Lightly season both sides of the ribs with Curt's Cooking Spice. Set ribs aside. In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, coconut sugar, both chile powders and Curt's Cooking Spice. Place the ribs on a large sheet of foil (this will spare you a mess) and liberally apply the brown sugar rub, massaging the seasonings into all areas of the ribs. Allow ribs to rest for 1 to 4 hours in fridge. Preheat the gas grill on high for 5 minutes and then turn burners to medium. Place ribs, meat side down, directly over flame for 10 minutes. Flip over and sear the other side for another 10 minutes. Move ribs off of direct heat and continue cooking for 40 minutes longer. Remove ribs from grill and place on aluminum foil. Slather Curt's BBQ sauce from one end to the other and close up foil well. Place the package of ribs back on the grill over indirect heat for 30-45 minutes.
